Waltham Butternut Pumpkin is a popular annual. A more compact grower compared to other runners being easy to grow in good well drained soil.  Used in soups, pies and baking. Pear-shaped fruit to 2kg with light orange skin. Small seed cavity at one end. Orange coloured flesh, dry and tasty.

Sow Spring and Summer.

Seed packet contains approx. 25 seeds.

Approx. 12 seeds per gram.

Tip:Ensure you don't fertilize too heavily with nitrogen or over water as this will promote excess leaf growth. This also tends to promote male flowers but no female flowers which are needed for fruit production.
