Commonly know as Queensland Arrowroot can grow to 2.5 metres tall. A well known chop and drop plant with leaves used for animal fodder and mulch. Tubers are best eaten cooked, or as flour, has good flavour. Commercial source for the easily digested starch. Fast growing perennial, loves moisture.
