Yacon (Sweet Root) is a herbaceous perennial to 2m. Hardy in most climates, easy to grow, dies down in Winter. related to the sunflower family. Edible tubers are sweet, white and crunchy. Eat fresh, sliced in salad, baked/steamed.
Available June-December. Sold as bare rooted rhizomes or in 100mm tube pot.
