Loquat is a popular edible fruit native to southern China. Evergreen trees bear sweet tasting fruit in 4 years during August-October. Fruit is often eaten fresh or due to it's high pectin level it can be used for making jams and all sorts of preserving combinations with other fruits.
Trees will grow well in temperate to sub-tropical climate and it is frost hardy.
Sold in 100mm tube pot.
