Lemon Verbena is a perennial shrub to 3 metres, evergreen in warmer environments and deciduous in cooler climates. Native to South America, with long thin, slightly rough leaves that release a strong and edible lemon oil, along with highly aromatic small white flowers. Use fresh leaves in tea, salads and dried leaves in pot pouri. Also known as Lemon Beebrush.
