Pride of Ringwood hops is a common Australian hops that Carton and United Breweries use in their beers. It produces excellent quality bitters with nice aromatics. It is best used fresh for brewing so growing your own is a excellent way to ensure great quality and freshness of the flowers.
It is a hardy grower that prefers a full sun position to partial shade. Needs a structure to climb on which can be up to 3m tall or lowered to allow for ease of harvesting.
Available all year. Please select either a cutting which is up to 6months old in a 100mm tube pot or a crown which is much more established in the same pot size. All material is sourced from a female flowering parent plant.
Note: This plant goes dormant in winter.
