Ginger is a perennial plant to 1 metre, with long narrow leaves. Enjoys warm sheltered position, moist fertile well drained soil. Suitable for pots or garden. Used fresh or dried for culinary and medicinal purposes.
Sold in 100mm tube pot during summer. During Winter and Spring they are supplied as a bare rooted rhizome dormant (approx. 80g of ginger rhizome supplied when dormant). Rhizomes generally shoot from November onwards.
