Sage is a perennial to 60cm, grey-green leaves and showy blue flower spikes. Bee attractant plant. Use heaves in herbal tea, cooking and seasoning soups with a rish nutty flavour. Prefers well drained soil, sunny position. Attractive garden plant.
My sage always dies, why is this? Sage can be a little tricky in wet climates or if it's planted in the wrong position. Ensure you choose a well drained, full sun position where it will not get waterlogged. They will flourish in dryer soils but make sure it doesn't stay dry for to long, as with all plants they do need water to survive.
