    How to Grow

Chinese Celery is a very fast growing plant to 80cm in width and height. It will grow well in a full sun to part shade position. Sow seeds either in pots then transplant to the garden at 5cm high or you can sow direct into the garden due to the vigour of this plant. Cover seed with 3mm of soil and keep moist until germinated. After 40 days you can begin harvesting baby leaves or allow the plant get larger in size producing a thick midrib which is lovely in texture and flavour. Self seeds relatively easily if you allow it to flower and set seed.
