Trifolium incarnatum - Untreated Seed
Crimson clover is a vigorous annual legume growing to 1m tall. Best sown late summer for bulk vegetative growth. Can be grown in pasture as animal fodder, in orchard rows or vegetable cropping areas as a green manure. For the purpose of green manure ensure you slash and chop in plants before flowing stage.
Plants can also be left to flower being a nectar rich bee plant.
If allowed to flower seed will be set and it will germinate at the next rain event.
Sow during late summer. 500g - 1.5kg per acre will allow for a mixture of pasture species to grow.
