Isabella Grape is a very hardy, fruiting vine. Tolerates cool to humid areas, slightly hairy leaves. Black medium size round seeded fruit with strong flavour. Mildew resistant.
Plants are dormant during winter.
Available all year. Sold in 100mm tube pot.
We use this grape to make home made grape juice when their is an influx. It can also be mixed with other varieties that are available. Simply squash the grapes and strain through a fine sieve to remove skins and stems (pillow case works well). Add water to the mix until you are happy with the strength of flavour. Bring the mix to boil on the stove and immediately pour into glass jars. Lids should pop once cooled indicating a good seal. Stores up to 6 months unopened.
