Shirohe Millet is a annual growing to 1.5 m. Fast growing summer forage for Cattle, Sheep, chickens and green manure. Millet is an excellent green manure crop when combined with a legumes such as Mung Bean, Cowpea etc. Grow in fertile well drained soil. Best to sow with good soil moisture or steady rain to get best germination and plant establishment.
