A very old variety producing very large fruit in late Summer to Autumn. Fruit has a milder flavour, although it is still pleasant eaten fresh it is the perfect variety for making jams.
Trellising this variety is recommended for best fruit production.
Protection from hot western sun will improve plant growth and fruiting. Plant in fertile moist soil.
Produces fruit on new growth each season allowing for easy maintenance and winter pruning.
Low chill variety.
