Early Moon Beam is a old fashioned variety hard to find in Australia - Flesh is crisp and sweet with an attractive gold/yellow colour. Fruits quickly handling shorter summer seasons. Fruit size is ideal and will easily fit inside the fridge or perfect for picnics. Watermelon prefers a sunny position in fertile well drained soil, water well. Best eaten fresh or they can be juiced.
Sow in Spring - Summer.
