Aquatic bulb grown in tub, or large pot with no drainage, some soil, cover with water. Edible bulb, up to 4cm. Brown skin, white flesh, sweet nutty flavour, eat fresh or cooked. Very easy to grow, low maintenance. Excellent cropper, has potential as a commercial marketing line. 1 bulb can produce up to 1kg of food. Available June-October. Sold as bulbs.
